So we had a very exciting two days. Scott started not to feel well sometime Monday. He said his throat was hurting all day yesterday, then last night he was up and down all night. First he was cold and turned up the heat then he got hot and turned it back down. I was pretty much out of it and oblivious to what was going on with him till he climbed back in bed at 5 am. School was pretty miserable for him, couldn't concentrate and he said he was just drained. He got home and went straight to bed and slept till about 3:30 when i finally woke him up to go to work. Well needless to say he wasn't doing any better and now he had a fever of 102. So we dropped Chloe off at Tyler and Erin's and went to the ER. They did a Quick Strep test which came back negative. So they decided that they would culture it for a few days and see what happens. In the mean time they went ahead and gave him a prescription for Penicillin. But they said not to fill it till they got the results or he still wasn't better in three days. I am just thankful that it wasn't really serious. I love him and hate to see him not feeling well. But hopfully now he will start to feel better.
Awww...Poor Scott. I hope he feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteit's a lot diffrent when you are at the hospital with a spouse.. I've taken Ricky to the ER because of a hole he drilled into his leg, and he's taken me once when i was really sick and vomiting. in Utah I had buddies and roomies to go to ERs with, which always ended up to be quiet and adventure.. lol.. get better soon Scott. and you better let Kim come see me sometime.!! :)
