The Big Arrival!!!!

Aaron William Clawson made his big arrival on October 15th, 2009 at 7:33 pm. Yes he was still early. He was born at exactly 36 weeks. Our little guy weighed 5 pounds 10 ounces and was 18 inches long. He is the most adorable little boy i have ever seen. Ok so maybe im a little partial :-) He is growing more and more everyday. I cant believe he is already a month old. Time flys when you get little sleep, HEHE. I love him so much. And the more i see Scott hold him the more i fall in love with both of them.

AGHHHH!!! Really?

Ok so i have now been on bedrest since i was 27 weeks and i am now almost 35. The dr is telling me i have to make it to 37. I keep complaining about it, but i really do know its best to keep him in as long as possible. I just wish people would let me vent and not keep telling me NO. This isnt my first go around with bedrest. Especially when they have not been in my position. When they have then we can talk... Untill then let me vent. Aaron is developing like he should, he is actually 3 days ahead in development. Which is really great! We are just so dang anxious to see what our little boy looks like considering everytime we have tried to see his face his arms are in the way. And last time the little booger waved at us and still didnt move his arms. Im hopeing our little guy will be here before Halloween and before my mom comes to visit. I just need 2 more weeks!! Can i really make it? I guess i dont have a choice unless he decides to come all on his own.

Bed Rest... STINKS!!!

Well luckily we are back in Utah. Last monday night after cramping and not being able to really take anymore of it i talked Scott into taking me to the Hospital. I guess i know when something is wrong. We got there they did some tests, called the on call Dr, which was My dr. he came in and talked to me. And sure enough i was dialated to 1 cm 50 % effaced already and just at 27 weeks. The thing that really concerned him was i was going numb on my right side of my body and i was losing strenght. Well he wanted to see me back in his office that Wednesday for a follow up and he referred me to a Neurologist to see about the numbness. Well needless to say i was really nervous about going. And we had tons of prayers from everyone. He checked me again and i was still at 1 cm but i had changed to 75% effaced. There it went, My freedom. Complete bedrest is what he ordered. Let me tell you its not easy when your trying to get moved into a new place to do nothing. I went to the Neurologist on thursday and he did his tests and i have Moderate Carpal Tunnel in my right wrist. Well today is the 20th and we go back to the dr so he can check me yet again. Im really hopping to make it to 34 weeks before Aaron makes his big entrance. I am currently 28 weeks and things are getting harder for me. I cant get comfy, im getting kicked from my ribs to my tailbone. Im just really ready to be comfortable again. But i know the longer he is in there the better it is for him, This isnt my first Rodeo. Chloe tried to come at 31 weeks and they stuck me in the hospital on bedrest. I was really just hopping this pregnancy would be different. But its not... Update on todays visit will come later.

Sheer Madness!!

So i realized today that with a second baby coming and a very active 5 year old I'm not going to have much me time. With Scott in school, studying and working its all gonna be up to me. Can i really do this? I guess at this point i don't have much of a choice. I'm just hoping that Chloe will be more of a help than a hindrance. But the up side of it she will be in school half a day. Why cant Utah be like Texas where kindergarten is ALL day? I have so much going through my mind at this point i don't know where its all going to go. Lets add to it, i don't want to do anything but Eat either. I cant wait for this little one to come. I want to be able to sleep comfortably again. I was going to repaint my toenails then i realized i couldn't paint them this time, my mom did. I cant bend over anymore. AHHHHHH!!!! It's almost over, Right?

Summer is coming to an End, FAST!

Yes thats right we have been in Missouri since the begining of May and now we are getting things ready to head back to Utah on the 18th of August. Im so excited to get back and get everything moved into our new Apartment in Logan. Plus im really anxious cause when we get back the closer time for our baby to come. I cant believe how time has flown by. I have loved being here and getting to know new people and making new friends. My mom came for a 2 week visit the begining of July, and we had so much fun going and seeing things together. I just had my 26th birthday on Monday and i feel so old already. Scott made it a great day. He took the day off work so we could do things as a family. I had the bright idea of going to the Arch and going up to the top. We got there and i couldnt move, i frooze with fear. And of course my 2 daredevils took off. Chloe isnt afraid of anything, She sat right on the edge at the Grand Canyon. And Scott went Skydiving last summer. But for some reason i couldnt move. After our Arch expirence we brought Chloe home and Mikki watched her as we went to dinner Alone. We went to my favorite place, Red Lobster. It was nice to sit down at a decent hour to have dinner with my husband and actually talk about things other than his job.

ITS A BOY!!!

This past tuesday i had a drs appointment while i was in Utah. It was supposed to just be a check up, but i talked the dr into taking a look just to see if we could see anything. IE Gender. Well sure enough we saw the baby and as soon as he stopped wiggling we saw the Boy parts. I knew what i was looking at but i waited for the dr to say something. And he confirmed that it was a Boy. I was so excited i was in tears. I got on the phone with Scott before he was even done cleaning the nice goo off me. And yes we have already picked out a name. Aaron William Clawson, Aaron being Scotts middle name and William after my dad. Im sure he is up in heaven giving our little one advice. This will be only my moms 3rd grandson with 6 granddaughters. And Scotts parents 3rd grandson with 2 granddaughters. We are all so excited. I cant believe this next week starts the begining of my 5th month, its going by so fast.

Getting bigger everyday!

So i am 15 weeks and 3 days already. I can feel the baby move, but only when i sneeze. I think its thinking "thanks mom i was comfy there". I have my next appointment June 2 nd in Utah. I cant wait to hear the hearbeat again. But then we have to wait till the end of June for our Big Ultrasound. We are dying to know if its a Boy or Girl. We of course have both names picked out. But its just the suspense of waiting.

A Baby Is coming!!!

Yes thats what i said. We are expecting a new addition to the family. We are so excited and cant wait. Our little jelly bean is due November 12th. Chloe cant wait to be a big sister. She grinned from ear to ear when i told her. We went to our first OB appoinment yesterday and actually heard the babies heartbeat. It was so cool. Mom and Scott were there also. Its a very exciting thing when you can hear a heartbeat, Scott said it seems more real now that he heard it. I guess thats true other than feeling sick all the time. I was so scared that we would be having more than one baby, but the Dr assured me that there was just one! What a relief that was.

It Says "PREGNANT"

Baby's heartrate is 123 beats per minute

Spring Break!!!

Spring break was an interesting week. We left Logan Monday morning with about 8 1/2 inches of snow and by 4:30 we were in Vegas where it was about 65 degrees. A much better feeling than when we left Logan. We then went to Kingman AZ where Scott's Aunt and Uncle live for dinner. And alittle visit. When we left there it took about 4 hours to get to our Hotel in Mesa. When we got there the hotel was full. So they had to find another hotel for us for a couple of nights. I was not in a very good mood by this point. We got a good nights rest and the next day while Scott went to work i went shopping. I was at the mall and decided to go to another store someplace else and i tried to start the car. BUT NOTHING!!! It was dead! We had to call a tow truck and have it taken to a shop. It was going to cost almost as much as the car was worth to get it fixed. Not to mention we really didn't have that kinda money. But we had some help and go the car fixed. In the mean time I got to spend the Day with Sarah, it was so good to see her. The exciting thing was that she had found out that day that she is pregnant also and we are due on the same day! We had a good time together, she took me to the Mesa Temple to see and we went shopping. Latter that night a bunch of us went back out there and walked around and took pictures. This was the first time i had actually seen this temple. My parents were sealed there so it was extra special for me to be there with Scott just walking around. It was beautiful and the flowers smelled so good. We left Mesa Friday afternoon and headed back to Kingman to spend the night with Scott's family. We had a good time hanging out with Heidi his cousin. We woke up Saturday and headed for the Hoover Dam. I am really afraid of heights, but it was fun getting to see it. It was lunch time and we headed for Vegas again. We love In and Out Burger, i wish they had them here. After lunch we decided to go down the strip and see somethings, since we really haven't had a Honeymoon. It was soo much fun, we went to M&M World we saw the fountains at the Bellagio and then we headed home. After all was said and done it wasn't a total waste of a week. I got to spend time with good friends and family and my wonderful husband.

Winter Weather Advisory!!!!

Let me start off by saying by Snow is great unless you want to travel in it. Our flight was scheduled for 5:35., we left our place at 2:00 just to make sure we got there on time. We should have known that when the flashy sign said "ROAD CLOSED" it means don't drive on it. But we did anyways, First mistake. The second one was stooping on an incline in the snow storm. That really wasn't our fault. But needless to say we got stuck for 15 mins. Scott had to get out in the snow storm and push the car as i pushed the gas and steered it. The scariest thing i have ever been in. When you look out the window and cant see a thing because the snow is so bad. Well we finally got out of the canyon and the snow seemed to have let up some. I got on my phone to check our flight which had been delayed 30 mins. No big deal 30 mins. We got to the airport and checked in and they had delayed it again so we were supposed to leave at 6:20. 7:00 rolled around and we finally took off. Chloe was so anxious she drove me crazy , and of course the flight was packed. Not alot of moving around space. We landed in Houston alittle after midnight central time. We loved seeing my mom at the airport, i mean it has been four months since we saw her last.

And Away We Go!!!

I know i had mentioned earlier about going back to Texas, Well the time is here. We are packing up and getting everything together tonight. Chloe and I leave about 5:30 tomorrow evening. I am so excited i cant stand it. But poor Scott is staying here because of school and work. We really wish he was coming with us. There will be lots of pictures for me to post when we get back. We have so many things to do while we are there. One of which is Mardi Gras in Port Arthur. I didnt think we would get to go this year, but much to my surprise its this weekend. WOOHOO!!! See ya when we get back on the 24th.

Chloe's in LOVE!!! And she's tying her own shoes!!!

OK so i didn't think my four year old would be in love, ALREADY!!! She started school a few weeks ago and found that she likes a little boy in her class. And the fun thing is she has two cousins with the same name, Kayden. She is so funny when she talks about him. She dreams about him she says and they lean on each others shoulders. I even had to put her hair up today cause she wanted it that way for Kayden... Oh and my amazing daughter learned how to tie her own shoes, WOOHOO!!! She is getting too big too fast for me. But she has always been way ahead of the curve.

Picture Time!!!

So i had the brilliant idea of taking some candids of Chloe. Just to have more pictures of her, as if we don't have enough already. So we went to one of the trails by the golf course where there is alot of snow, trees and a beautiful bridge. I have a thing for bridges and pictures not really sure why. Chloe is very photogenic and i love taking pictures of her cause they always turn out amazing. And she didn't fail this time either. Here are a few of what we took. Enjoy!!!!

Back to Texas!!!

I got a phone call late one night telling me that my Granny wasn't doing too well. I immediately looked at Scott and told him that we had to go. I couldn't wait until May to go back to see her. So i got online and bought plane tickets for Chloe and Me to go back February 17th. We will be there for a week. I absolutely cant wait to get out of this freezing weather and into the warmer climate. Plus i cant wait to see my family again. And poor Scott has to stay here in Logan to go to school and work.

Shes Back in The Saddle

YIPPEE!!! I think i was more excited than Chloe was this morning. Today is her first day back in school. Well kinda... She was in PreK in Texas but here in Utah they dont have it in the public school system(which stinks). But she is way too smart to sit at home and veg all day. So yeah!!!

And yes i know she looks like a mess, but Ms. Independant wouldnt let me fix her hair. Oh well shes 4...

Scotts ER Trip

So we had a very exciting two days. Scott started not to feel well sometime Monday. He said his throat was hurting all day yesterday, then last night he was up and down all night. First he was cold and turned up the heat then he got hot and turned it back down. I was pretty much out of it and oblivious to what was going on with him till he climbed back in bed at 5 am. School was pretty miserable for him, couldn't concentrate and he said he was just drained. He got home and went straight to bed and slept till about 3:30 when i finally woke him up to go to work. Well needless to say he wasn't doing any better and now he had a fever of 102. So we dropped Chloe off at Tyler and Erin's and went to the ER. They did a Quick Strep test which came back negative. So they decided that they would culture it for a few days and see what happens. In the mean time they went ahead and gave him a prescription for Penicillin. But they said not to fill it till they got the results or he still wasn't better in three days. I am just thankful that it wasn't really serious. I love him and hate to see him not feeling well. But hopfully now he will start to feel better.

Christmas with Chloe

This year is the first year i have not had Chloe at Christmas. It was hard but we decided to have Christmas before she left. We had a good day together. Watching Chloe open her gifts and Scott and I even opened a few. Then we played the rest of the day. This year Chloes thing was TinkerBell so most everything she got from us was TinkerBell. Next year we will have her Christmas, thankfully. I dont really like sharing her.

Christmas in Nevada

This christmas Scott and i went to Nevada to spend christmas with his family. We had alot of fun and got to visit with his extended family while we were there. We also went sightseeing one day since i had never been to Reno. We also went bowling. It was alot of fun.
